Founded in 2002, Audio Source is a full-service Manufacturer’s Representative organization covering the Greater Pacific Northwest, Northern California/Nevada, Utah and Alaska. We are a solution-based company dedicated to filling the needs of all business channels in which we participate.
The Audio Source team consists of seven band members which includes five outside Sales Professionals, and two Key Account Administrators. We are always in search of the best talent, so please take a look at our “opportunities” page for our current openings or methods to submit a resume.
We maintain three offices in the Greater Seattle area, one in Salem, OR, Portland, OR and the San Francisco Bay Area. As we continue to grow, our goal is to add sales people to ensure our high standards of customer service and relationship-building are maintained. This commitment is unique amongst most sales organizations with whom we compete. One of the defining principals which set Audio Source apart from the rest is our relentless commitment to “perpetual partnership.” Whether dealer or end-users, Audio Source fully believes in making solid connections with the people who use or will use the products we represent.
It is simply not enough in today’s business environment to expect customers to make buying decisions based on websites or catalogs. Products must be displayed and demonstrated in a way to enhance the various attributes of a given product. We are also heavily involved in sponsoring specific dealer trips to visit our Manufacturers so that customers have one-on-one time with key management staff. These visits have had a tremendous positive effect on our key business partnerships over the years.
Having been around for many years, we have weathered the storms of several economic down-turns including the horrors of 2008! During these times, we have never had to reduce our staff. Rather, we have made extra investments in people as well as travel while our competitors were satisfied to send email or make the occasional dealer phone call! We understand that the business of selling and brand development is truly a “contact sport” and people like to do business with people who value their relationships and add value to the whole equation.
We are dedicated to fully supporting both our dealers and valued manufacturer partners. Each are why we are in business. Everything we do as people involved in the moving goods or services, whether sales person, manufacturer of dealer, must have the main mission of serving the needs of the end-user in mind. This needs to be the target of all of our activities. Not to sell them on a direct basis, but to understand that they, in fact, determine what is bought or sold. If we have the attention of the vast number of end-users, we have a golden opportunity to influence the buying decision.
In addition to hands-on product demos, Audio Source is extremely excited about what the future holds. We continuously invest heavily in people, process, and innovation. Currently we are in the planning stages of an entirely new digital platform aimed at targeted interaction with the dealer as well as the end user. The first stage of our initiatives in 2017 will include a completely redesigned Audio Source website. The end user (or, dealer alike) will be encouraged to visit our site to glean valuable product information, upcoming training and/or “road show” events. We will also use our site to sign users up for webinars or direct dealer/rep visits. A calendar of events will be included so that the end-user will become comfortable coming to our site to see what interesting event might be coming to their area. We already have, by virtue of our normal business practices, a large number of end-user contacts. The website will be yet another vehicle for us to stay targeted and focused on best serving the end-user and, thus, our dealers.
